TEAM JUMBO-VISMA STORIES

The hot hills around Adelaide. Echelons in De Omloop. The white roads of Tuscany. Through the rain to sunny Nice. Frenzied Italian sprints. A strong sea breeze on the Ligurian coast. Gales from Ghent to Wevelgem. The battering in Flanders. The Arenberg, Mons-en-Pévèle, and Carrefour de l’Arbre to the Cauberg, Mur de Huy, and Saint-Nicolas. Rain, sun, or snow? Italy and its dizzying climbs. Californian fans. Picture-perfect Switzerland. A final test at the Dauphiné. Then, nationals. A team effort in Brussels. 24% grades. La Planche des Belle Filles. A time trial in Pau. The 2365-metre-high finish at Val Thorens. Champagne. The flyover in Paris. The mysterious Jaizkibel. Spain’s most torturous climbs. Worlds. Falling leaves in Como.

Working with Team Jumbo-Visma’s riders and staff is fundamental to AGU’s Research & Development strategy. The collaboration has yielded innovative gear for all sorts of conditions the team is likely to face throughout the season. From a summer jersey made from water-resistant lightweight fabrics, to custom- made fleece-lined thermal bibs for freezing weather, the riders can effectively focus on their performance in all instances without having to worry about external conditions.
