AGU is here for all women on bicycles!

If you ask us what makes cycling so much fun? Cycling is for everyone, anywhere, anytime. From professionals to amateurs, from young to old, from recreational cyclists to fanatical Strava riders, adventurous gravel riders and city cyclists who also want to look stylish on their bikes. And above all; cycling is for men and women.

Top cyclists such as the Dutch Anna van der Breggen, Annemiek van Vleuten and Marianne Vos have proven in recent years that cycling is not just a man's sport. More and more women are getting on their racing or mountain bikes. That is why we have been designing and developing specific women's cycling wear for years, both for racing cyclists and urban cyclists. You can read how we do that in this blog.

Feminine fit

A woman's body is different, and we always design our products accordingly. So that a jacket has a nice fit, and we understand how important it is to have good and fitting cycling shorts with chamois. That braces should fit differently on women than on men. That a cycling shirt should not be drawstringy and not everything has to be bright pink.

But what then?

Better road bike clothing through collaboration with the ladies of Team Visma | Lease a Bike

In collaboration with the women of Team Visma | Lease a Bike, we are constantly looking for the best materials, fits and techniques. The result is the most high-quality, innovative and aerodynamic cycling clothing that offers optimal comfort during their training and races. And we carry those techniques and developments through into the women's collections. So that not only they, but also you, can go fast, comfortable and stylish on the road.

OUR BEST ROAD CYCLING CLOTHING FOR WOMEN

No 'shrink it and pink it'

At first glance, the women's collection may not seem much different from our men's collection, but there is a lot of difference, especially on the technical side. We do not do 'shrink it and pink it', or feminising the products for men, but develop products specifically tailored for women cyclists.

Women-specific chamois

Thus, the difference in chamois is very important. We have therefore developed a special women's chamois. It is placed differently in the trousers and provides comfort where it is needed. The braces are also different in relation to the breasts. And with our Switch Bibshort, a handy zip makes it even easier for ladies to make a sanitary stop.

More waist & different lines

The female upper body is often rounder and more fitted than the male body. But actually needs more room on the chest at the front. So that calls for a different fit. The women's cycling shirts feature a fit with waist and are made of stretchy materials that move with the shapes of the body.

The lines of all women's clothing are also well thought out. For example, there are no seams in places that are uncomfortable or uncharming for a lady.

Stylish design

Last but not least: the design. From the cool SIX6 collection to the colourful Trend collection, there is a style to suit every woman. Equipped with specific women's prints, colour styles and matching fabrics. It doesn't have to be all pink or just black. Just a tough twist combined with softer colours makes the AGU cycling collection recognisable for women.

Stylish rain jackets for the urban cyclist

We just talked about style being quite important on a road bike too. Of course, that's what you want when you take your bike into everyday life, to school, study or work, or to go to town. That is why we have an extensive and exceptionally stylish collection of jackets that are wind and waterproof, but above all look really cool.

URBAN OUTDOOR COLLECTIE

Cycling is changing the city. Makes it greener, gives us space to breathe, to live; we work, enjoy, meet, move...we do everything by bike. Whether it rains or the sun shines. Every day. These are no longer rain coats, this is bike fashion.

Our Urban Outdoor collection is specifically designed to help you move freely, feel good and look even better on and off the bike. So you can always get on, always go, always feel free.
