Cycling allows Tom Dumoulin to get the best out of himself. Ever since he took up the sport as boy, it has been a healthy outlet for him to channel his energy and competitive spirit. He is now a grand-tour winner with a world champion’s jersey in his closet, but he still makes time to share his love for the sport. He is especially passionate about getting young kids into cycling and has even founded his own sportive in Maastricht for riders young and old. Who knows? Maybe one of the young riders he’s inspired will one day win a maglia rosa.
