HOW TO LAYER PROPERLY - FROM HEAD TO TOE!

#1 LAYERING ON THE UPPER BODY

Starting with a good baselayer is key. The Summerday Baselayer is perfect for spring and summer. You can choose between long sleeve, short sleeve, or sleeveless! Over it you either wear a comfortable and breathable jersey, like the Melange jersey, or, when it’s windy, an easily stowable wind jacket or wind body - that’s it!

Do you expect rain? Then take the very breathable Stormbreaker jacket with you, which is a wind and rain jacket in one! Discover the perfect combination between a wind and rain jacket that protects you from unpredictable showers.

#2 LAYERING ON THE LEGS

Leg warmers are great for layering. When it's a bit cooler, you can simply wear a long bibtight without seat pad, and your favorite bibshorts underneath. The AGU Prime Bibshort for example is great for layering with leg warmers!

#3 LAYERING FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING

Wearing a liner short under your waterproof MTB shorts gives you the comfort of a seat pad with a snug fit, but the look of the casual-fitting MTB shorts - the perfect combination! The great thing is that the shorts can be attached to each other, so there’s no slipping during the ride.

#4 LAYERING ON THE FOOT.

Overshoes are too warm, but it’s still too cold to ride completely without protection? Then opt for AGU toe warmers! These protect your toes from cool riding wind without your feet overheating.

Also always a good idea: Merino socks! Thanks to the soft and breathable merino wool your feet are neither too warm nor too cold.
