AGU CHAMOIS PADS
Serious cycling without a chamois is not really a good idea. The hardness of many saddles, the vibrations of the road, the need to wick away perspiration, the many kilometers in a row that you spend on your saddle; all reasons to wear shorts or tights with chamois pads. Without a chamois, you are almost guaranteed to get saddle-sore. On this page, you can read about the different chamois pads that we use in our cycling shorts and tights, and which one suits you best.
The Solution
In 2018, we completely renewed our chamois padding collection. To raise the bar to a higher quality level. We looked critically at the needs of the most demanding cyclist and figured out how AGU can ensure that you can sit longer and with more pleasure in the saddle. After hours of research, development, and frequent testing, we came up with three new and improved chamois pads. Each model offers an option for a specific cyclist and in addition, each model comes in a specific men and women version: the GREEN 95, RED 120, and the BLACK 320.
GREEN 95
Entry-level chamois pads with excellent value for money for regular use.
- For the beginning and regular cyclist who needs a good basis of comfort.
- Suitable for bike rides between 1 and 1.5 hours at a low to medium intensity.
- 10 mm thick 2-layer foam material with medium damping.
RED 120
Excellent chamois pads for more intensive and regular use. Riders ofTeam Visma | Lease a Bike also cycle with this chamois.
- For both the experienced, advanced, and professional cyclist.
- Suitable for high-intensity bike rides of up to approximately 3 hours.
- 14 mm thick 2-layer foam with high damping but still direct feeling with the saddle.
BLACK 320
Ultimate chamois for the most demanding cyclists and conditions. Riders of Team Visma | Lease a Bike also cycle with this chamois.

- Suitable for bicycle rides of many hours at a high intensity.
- 14mm thick 3-layer foam with unmatched damping.
Green 95
GREEN 95
High-quality, comfortable chamois pad for both starting and regular cyclists.
Our AGU GREEN 95 is the entry-level model and a good padding, which makes you ride super comfortable. The material is made of quick-drying, comfortable 10 mm foam and offers excellent cushioning. With an excellent price-performance ratio, this pad is the perfect choice for starting and regular cyclists. This chamois pad can be found in our Essential collection (bib)shorts.

Extra comfortable chamois pad for longer rides.
Ther RED 120 chamois pad is not only perfect for the hottest days, but also groundbreaking when it comes to comfort. For longer rides as well as for a more frequent use, you benefit from the extremely high damping value of the High Impact Perforated Foam. In addition, the padding is equipped with Skyving technology, which prevents skin irritation due to minimal height differences in the padding. That made this padding an absolute favourite among our test riders. It is flexible, comfortable and offers comfort exactly where it is needed most. The RED 120 is used by the professionals of Team Visma | Lease a Bike.

Black 320
BLACK 320
The ideal chamois pad for intensive, long rides and frequent use.
For our AGU premium and SIX6 collection we have developed the BLACK 320, which uses the unsurpassed damping value of the Hybrid Cell System. This padding is thin, light, highly breathable and hard-wearing. The top layer is made of CoolCube, which prevents irritation and chafing while wicking sweat away from the skin and keeping you fresh and dry.
