The jacket is made entirely of polyester pongee, which makes it light and easy to wear. The exterior has a matt look for a rugged look.
Under the outer fabric is the Poray 5.000 membrane. In a typical rainstorm, the water cannot possibly pass through this water and windproof layer. The higher the Poray number, the better the waterproofing.

The seams between the individual panels are taped, which prevents rain from penetrating. The storm flap behind the zip and the elastic band around the sleeves also keep out the wind and rain.
