Warranty conditions and warranty period

At AGU, we do everything in order to develop products at the highest level of quality. Since we believe in the quality of our products, we offer at least three years of factory warranty on our products in addition to the legally mandated guarantee.

What is a legal warranty?

A product must possess those characteristics that are required for normal use. In short, it must do what the purchaser could reasonably expect from it. This means that, in normal use, a product may show no defects during the expected lifespan. If a product turns out not to meet these expectations – in other words: if it displays a defect – then the company must repair this, in principle, or if that is not possible, must provide a similar replacement product.

If the product is not used normally or if it's a question of regular user wear, then the aforementioned does not apply.

Not satisfied with the product that you have purchased via this webshop? Then you can return the product to us within 30 days. Have you encountered an unexpected production or material defect after those 30 days? Then please contact us via customer service.

Making a warranty claim

For three years after the purchase of the product, you can appeal to the warranty if the defect can be attributed to a production error. We choose whether to repair or replace the defective product. Damage from improper use or regular user wear is not subject to the terms of this warranty.

In-store purchase: If you have purchased AGU products in a physical store, you must submit your warranty claim at the point of purchase.

Online purchase through other stores: If you have purchased AGU products online through other stores, the warranty claim must also be submitted at the point of purchase.

Online purchase through our webshop: For AGU products ordered through our webshop, you can submit your warranty claim directly to us.

Did you buy an AGU product from another store, does the store no longer exist, or was it purchased more than 3 years ago?


If so, please contact us. Take a photo of the product and email it to customerservice@agu.nl, or contact the AGU customer service by phone at (+31) (0)24 - 8080124.

Please provide us with:

  • A copy of the purchase receipt or confirmation of your order via the website
  • A description of the product defect
  • Photos of the product clearly showing the defect

Once received, your request will be processed as soon as possible.
