The jacket is made entirely of polyester pongee and can therefore be worn lightly and silently. The outside has a matte look for a cool look.
Under the outer fabric is the Poray 5.000 membrane. In an average rainstorm the water cannot pass through this water and windproof layer. The higher the Poray number, the better the waterproofing.

The Section Rain Jacket Essential has a long zipper. Over it is a storm flap that you can fasten with press studs. All this to protect against rain and wind.
The jacket has an inner pocket that can be closed with a zipper.
The jacket lining is made of mesh. Taffeta has also been chosen on the inside of the sleeves. All this protects the breathable membrane. In addition, the inside feels very nice. In the collar, AGU has applied fleece in the lining, also for more wearing comfort.
If it doesn't rain for a while, you can compactly fold the Section Raincoat Essential into one of the jacket pockets. It then serves as a storage cover. This way you have a small package that you can easily carry with you.
The jacket has a few reflective prints. They increase your visibility in the dark.
There are six sizes (S to XXXL) and three color variants (Black, Green, Navy Blue).
