Adjusting your bicycle helmet is simple and essential. Follow these three steps:

Step 1 – Put the helmet on your head Place the helmet straight on your head, just above your eyebrows. Make sure it sits horizontally and doesn’t tilt too far forward or backward.

Step 2 – Turn the dial Use the dial at the back of the helmet to adjust the fit. Turn it until the helmet feels snug but still comfortable. Note: a tight fit is good, but don’t overdo it, as your head might expand slightly during cycling.

Step 3 – Adjust the straps Ensure the straps form a triangle around your ears, leaving them free. Fasten the buckle under your chin and leave about one finger's width of space between the straps and your jaw.
