For the optimal performance of your rainwear, regular washing is recommended. This keeps the water column free of dust and dirt, trapping rainwater and keeping you dry. Thanks to the durable, PFAS-free, DWR coating, (rain) water stays on the fabric and drops roll off easily. If you notice this effect diminishing, use the AGU DWR Spray-On treatment after a normal wash cycle.
To ensure that the DWR coating we use on the rain jackets stays in good condition, you can treat the rainwear with this DWR Spray-On after washing. To do this, first wash the rainwear according to the instructions on the washing instructions with normal detergent, without fabric softener, and let the item dry thoroughly. Then spray the AGU DWR Spray-On evenly over the rainwear, following the instructions on the label.
